There is a crack near the top right where the black paint dried too fast and split open, and through it you can see something paler — something that was there first.

Right at the centre there is a twist of white and grey-blue paint that folded over on itself while it was still wet, and it holds the exact shape of the knife pulling away.

In the lower half there are these fine combed lines where someone dragged a toothed edge through the wet grey, and you can see the darker paint underneath — the painting letting you look one layer down.
